WHERE AND WHEN
The race will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 – 8:30 a.m. sharp.
All events start and finish 3-4 miles south of Central Ave, Island Beach State Park, Seaside Park, NJ.
Triathlon Distances
1/4 mile swim , 10 mile Bike and 5k Run
Duathlon Distances
2 mile run, 10 mile Bike and 5k Run
AquaVelo Distances
1/4 mile swim , 20 mile Bike (2 laps)
7:00 – 8:00 am check-in, packet pickup and race day registration
8:15 am pre-race briefing
8:30 am races start(3-5 waves based on # of entrants)
The swim is in the Ocean.
The bike and run will be contested on traffic free roads
through scenic island beach state park.
The course is flat and fast.
Swim Course
The swim course will depend on the current on race day but will be in the Ocean
Bike Course
The bike course is goes left or south and is out and back, traffic free and fast and flat
Aquavelos will do 2 laps everyone else one lap
